Parents of world’s oldest baby reveal how they will tell him

Tim and Lindsey’s journey to parenthood began in heartbreak and uncertainty, but it led them somewhere they never expected: to Nightlight Christian Adoptions and its Snowflakes embryo adoption program. Instead of flying overseas or waiting years for a traditional match, they were introduced to Linda, a woman across the country whose embryos had been frozen for over 30 years. One of those embryos became Thaddeus, now believed to be the oldest frozen embryo ever brought to life.

They plan to raise him with honesty and openness, weaving Linda into his story from the very beginning. Photos, updates, and messages already flow between them; a meeting in person feels inevitable, even sacred. For Tim and Lindsey, Thaddeus is living proof that family can be built in ways you never pictured. To anyone crushed by infertility, their message is simple and stubborn: don’t surrender your hope, even if the path looks nothing like you dreamed.
